Code of Conduct

We welcome players of all abilities from every culture, nationality and background to belong to Aslan FC and follow the Aslan Way.

The Aslan Way is based on Christian values and promotes a healthy, balanced and positive outlook for young people in the community.

In order for our football sessions to run in a safe, orderly and productive manner, Aslan expects high standards of discipline, honour, behaviour and obedience.

The Aslan FC session rules fall into four areas: Registration, Safety, Behaviour and Match Play:

 Registration
 Rule Consequence of Breach
 1 You must arrive on time and leave on time Warning
 2 All players must complete the Consent Form before participating
(parents or guardians to complete the Form for U18s)
No entry
 3 You must wait in line at the pitch entrance before the session starts No entry
 4 You must be within the age group: CUBS: 11-13 / LIONS: 16-25 No entry
 5 You must provide identification to prove your age if required No entry
 6 You must pay the entry fee before entering the pitch No entry
 7 You must bring the exact coins – notes will not be accepted No entry
 Safety
 Rule Consequence of Breach
 8 You must wear the correct footwear: moulds & astroturf & trainers (spikes and blades are prohibited) No entry
 9 You must remove any jewellery before play No entry
 10 Under 16s must wear shinpads before play No entry
 11 You must report all injuries to Aslan staff immediately
 12 You must not kick around the ball while waiting to play Warning followed by disciplinary action
 Behaviour

 13 You must obey Aslan staff so that the session is orderly Warning or disciplinary action
 14 You must not threaten, intimidate or abuse Aslan staff Ban and disciplinary action
 15 You must not steal items that do not belong to you Ban and disciplinary action
 16 You must not bully, threaten or abuse other players Ban and disciplinary action
 17 You must not fight Ban and disciplinary action
 18 You must not play dangerously, swear, dissent or behave poorly Warning, ‘sin bin’ or disciplinary action
 19 You must not question the referee’s decision during the session Warning, ‘sin bin’ or disciplinary action
 20 You must not lie Warning, ‘sin bin’ or disciplinary action
 21 You must let Aslan staff know if ball has been kicked over or lost
 Match Play
 Rule Consequence of Breach
 22 You must not foul or handball Free kick
 23 You must not slide with both feet – one foot must be grounded Free kick
 24 Goalkeepers must not step outside his area with either foot Penalty
 25 Goalkeepers must not hold the ball for more than 6 seconds Free kick
 26 You must not stand within 8 yards of a free kick ball Retake the free kick
 27 You must not use roll-on substitutes without permission Warning
 28 There is no offside rule
